August 2010

Teen Home Missions Trip

Date: August 17-20  Cost: $80 each

Our teens will be traveling to several local indepent Baptist Church plants in the Central Valley of California exposing to the "cutting edge"of Christian work.  There is also planned for them along the way serveral exciting activities!  This event is being held in the place of summer teen camp this year.  Pray that our teens will get a vision for fields that are white unto harvest spiritually!  

Ladies Lucheon

August 21 @ 1:00 pm

The ladies will be meeting this month at Rosemary's Family Creamery for fellowhsip and great food!  Get to know the ladies of MRBC and invite a friend.  This will great time of sharing life and testimonies of God's goodness.  Rosemary's is located at the corner of F street and 28th, downtown.

Sportsman's Weekend at MRBC

Friday, September 3 @ Kern Gun Club

The men will be meeting for our annual shotgun shootout contest.  Each person will need to bring a shotgun (or make arrangements), shells, and fee for shooting skeet.

 Saturday, September 4 @ MRBC

Church Planter and avid hunter, Adam Langston, will be the keynote speaker for our Sportsman's BBQ.  The cost will be $8 each and will consist of a steak dinner and a service.  Awards will be given for the contest at the BBQ.  If you have game or fish to cook, feel free to bring it and put in on the grill!
